As key purification equipment for material transfer between zones of different cleanliness grades, laminar‑flow pass‑boxes mitigate cross‑contamination risk in high‑grade clean environments. Different from conventional mechanical pass‑boxes, it realizes dynamic purification during transfer via vertical unidirectional laminar closed‑loop airflow. In accordance with GMP, EU GMP Annex 1 and PIC/S specifications, this paper introduces its top‑supply and bottom‑return laminar purification mechanism, sorts out critical technical indicators including chamber cleanliness, airflow velocity, filtration efficiency and housing material, and interprets the triple anti‑contamination system of electronic interlock, dynamic self‑cleaning and intelligent monitoring. By comparing with ordinary pass‑boxes, its superior dynamic anti‑pollution performance is highlighted. This work provides technical references for equipment selection, installation, commissioning and compliance‑oriented operation & maintenance.
