Modular operating room (quick-install operating room) is an innovative operating room design concept. It is like a set of carefully designed building blocks, which pre-makes the various functional parts of the operating room into independent modules in the factory. These modules include surgical operation area, equipment area, purification system area, and auxiliary work area.
Modular operating room is also called integrated operating room. It is composed of four walls: front wall, back wall, left wall and right wall. A ceiling integrated with the wall is installed above the four walls. The outer surface of the four walls and ceiling is paved with boards, and the ground is paved with seamless rubber or PVC floor, thus forming a modular pattern.
