The residual pressure valve is a device set up to maintain a certain indoor static pressure and realize the energy-free automatic control of the positive pressure in the air-conditioned room.
The residual pressure valve is a one-way air volume regulating device. The opening degree is adjusted according to the static pressure difference, and the position of the weight is used to balance the wind pressure. The air volume passing through the residual pressure valve is generally between 100-1200m3/h, and the pressure difference is maintained between 5-40Pa.

When the air pressure in the clean room exceeds the standard air pressure, the pressure reducing valve automatically opens. When it is lower than the standard air pressure, the valve returns to the closed state, thereby balancing the air pressure. 3. For newly installed or long-unused residual pressure valves, they must be carefully cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or dust-free tools before use.
4. The thickness of the wall where the residual pressure valve is installed should be within the range of 30 to 50 mm.

The residual pressure valve has good adaptability to rapid static pressure changes. It is generally recommended to be installed on the outer wall on the downwind side between clean rooms with different static pressure differences, and should not be installed in places that obviously affect the indoor airflow on the downstream side. When the smoke-proof stairwell is pressurized and the front room is not supplied with air, a residual pressure valve may also be installed on the partition wall between the stairwell and the front room. The device consists of an outer frame, a valve plate and a counterweight. The maximum opening angle of the valve plate is 45°. It can be widely used in clean workshops or clean rooms to maintain a positive pressure difference between indoors and outdoors, so that excess indoor air can be discharged and outdoor air can be prevented from invading.
