Electrostatic filter is a kind of an air filter which uses a high voltage electrostatic field to charge particles and are captured by a dust collecting plate.
Electrostatic filters are generally composed of two stages. When air passes through the first filter section, the particles in the air are charged under the action of circulating ions between the main electrode plate and the grounding electrode; then there is the collection section, where the charged particles are captured.
Electrostatic filters are indoor air purification equipment developed on the basis of industrial electrostatic dust collectors. They are now widely used in various indoor occasions, especially in ducted air conditioners and fresh air purification systems, becoming one of the most commonly used air purification equipment. Similar to filter-type air purification equipment, electrostatic filters remove particles as small as 0.01 microns in the air.
