A new Class 10,000 clean lithium battery production workshop was constructed. The workshop needs forklifts to transport large quantities of raw materials, circulating battery cells, tooling pallets and finished materials every day, featuring high transfer frequency, large cargo size and heavy material flow. In the early stage of the project, the original workshop was not equipped with dedicated air shower purification equipment. Materials were directly delivered from non-clean areas to clean production zones. Dust and particles attached to forklift tires, cargo surfaces and turnover pallets were continuously brought into the workshop, causing excessive particle concentration in partial workshop areas and high product defect rates. Moreover, the facility failed to meet the acceptance criteria for workshop cleanliness. A customized purification device suitable for forklift passage and large cargo air shower was urgently required.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the on-site working conditions and core pain points of the client, conventional small standard air showers cannot satisfy the requirements at all. Ordinary air showers have narrow dimensions, only suitable for small manual trolleys instead of forklift passage and large cargo transportation. Standard devices are equipped with sparsely arranged nozzles and insufficient wind speed, failing to achieve all-round dust removal for large-size goods. Conventional equipment adopts thin cabinet plates, which cannot withstand collision and heavy load pressure from forklift passage and are prone to deformation and air leakage. In terms of dimensions, an integrated widened, heightened and lengthened passage structure was customized according to the client\u2019s forklift specifications, maximum cargo size and passage clearance space to ensure smooth forklift movement without dead zones. For structural design, thickened 304 stainless steel plates were adopted for integrated forming to strengthen cabinet load-bearing and anti-collision performance, adapting to long-term forklift passage conditions and preventing cabinet deformation and air leakage at door gaps. In terms of purification performance, computational fluid dynamics simulation was applied to optimize the nozzle matrix layout. A 3D omnidirectional nozzle arrangement covering top, side, bottom and corner areas of goods was adopted to eliminate blind spots during air shower for large cargo. For safety performance, the whole machine is equipped with anti-static grounding treatment to meet the anti-static requirements of lithium battery workshops and prevent safety hazards caused by static accumulation. In terms of electric control, it is equipped with an intelligent interlock system, automatic induction air shower, voice prompt and fault alarm functions. The internal and external doors adopt mechanical &amp; electronic dual interlocks to completely block the intrusion of non-clean air into clean areas.<\/p>\n<p>After solution confirmation, the equipment entered the full-process manufacturing stage. All procedures are completed at Bacclean\u2019s own production base for controllable quality throughout the process. Sheet metal of the cabinet undergoes precision bending, seamless welding and polishing, leaving no dust accumulation dead corners or burr gaps inside, complying with the clean control standards of lithium battery workshops. High-performance EC energy-saving fans are selected for stable high air volume and pressure, maintaining the nozzle wind speed steadily at 25-30m\/s to meet the dust removal requirements of heavy-duty materials. The filtration system is fitted with H14 HEPA filters, 100% PAO leak tested before delivery to guarantee filtration efficiency and fully purified outlet airflow. Industrial explosion-proof and anti-static electronic components are used for electric control parts to adapt to the special working conditions of lithium battery workshops and ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment. After complete assembly, the equipment undergoes a 72-hour continuous power aging test. Wind speed uniformity, interlock logic, induction sensitivity, fan operation status and alarm functions are inspected item by item. A complete factory test report will be issued only after all parameters pass inspection to prevent unqualified products from delivery.<\/p>\n<p>After the equipment was transported to the project site, Bacclean\u2019s professional engineering team immediately carried out equipment positioning, leveling, splicing &amp; sealing, wiring commissioning and full function inspection. For the split installation feature of large air shower passages, the engineering team reinforced splicing gaps and sealed them with special sealant to eliminate air leakage risks. Nozzle angles were precisely calibrated to ensure full air shower coverage without blind spots. Door interlock, automatic induction, delayed air shower, fault alarm and other functions were repeatedly tested to match the on-site traffic rhythm of the client. After commissioning of the whole machine, multi-point wind speed detection, cleanliness re-testing and air tightness testing were performed to ensure all performance parameters of the equipment meet standards. Meanwhile, special training was provided for the client\u2019s operation and maintenance personnel, covering daily operation, cleaning maintenance, filter replacement, fault troubleshooting and other core knowledge to guarantee long-term efficient operation of the equipment.<\/p>\n<p>After official commissioning, the equipment completely solved the dust pollution problem caused by material transfer in the client\u2019s workshop. Before forklifts and loaded materials enter the clean area, they will go through all-round high-speed clean airflow blowing to strip dust, particles and impurities attached to surfaces, blocking external pollution at the source. The dual interlock structure forms a stable airlock isolation barrier, effectively stabilizing workshop pressure difference and cleanliness and preventing the intrusion of unpurified outside air.
