I. Application Scenarios of Air Box Filters
Air box filters are mainly used to remove dust, particles, microorganisms (tiny living organisms such as bacteria), and other impurities from the air. Depending on how efficiently they filter particles (filtration efficiency refers to the percentage of particles removed from the air by the filter), their application scenarios have different focuses: Primary efficiency box-type filter
It is suitable for primary filtration in ventilation systems. This includes the pre-treatment of fresh air in central air conditioning systems, which are found in large shopping malls, office buildings, stadiums, and other public places. It can filter out large dust particles (above 5μm, where μm means micrometers, or one-millionth of a meter) in the air and protect the subsequent medium and high-efficiency filters.
Ventilation systems used in agricultural and livestock breeding sites reduce dust, hair and other substances in the air and improve the breeding environment.
As a pre-filtering device for ventilation in industrial plants, such as mechanical processing workshops and storage warehouses, it reduces the amount of dust entering the workshops.
Medium-efficiency box-type filter
It is often used in the intermediate filtration stage of central air conditioning and centralized ventilation systems. Such systems include those in general hospital wards, hotel rooms, and office buildings. The medium-efficiency filter further removes fine particles (1-5μm, with μm meaning micrometers) and improves indoor air quality.
It is suitable for places such as electronics factories and precision instrument workshops that have certain requirements for air cleanliness, serving as a pre-protection for high-efficiency filters.
High-efficiency box-type filter
The core applications are in scenarios with high cleanliness requirements, such as optical and electronic workshops (to prevent dust from affecting the production of precision components), biomedicine clean rooms (to prevent microbial contamination of drugs or experimental environments), operating rooms (to ensure a sterile environment), etc.
It is commonly used at the air conditioning terminal supply air in semiconductor factories and laboratories. Its filtration efficiency can reach H13 and H14 grades, capable of removing particles larger than 0.3μm, meeting strict cleanliness standards.
Self-cleaning box-type filter
It is suitable for places with high dust concentration and continuous operation requirements, such as the boiler ventilation systems of thermal power plants and steel mills. It can automatically clean the dust and reduce the cost of manual maintenance.
It is used for ventilation and filtration in the mining and cement industries. It can still work stably in high humidity environments (even 100% humidity), ensuring the continuous operation of the ventilation system.
Ii. Application Scenarios of Liquid Box-type Filters
The liquid box filter is mainly used for solid-liquid separation and is suitable for liquid purification treatment in various industries
Chemical industry: Solution filtration used in the production of dyes and pigments to remove impurities and ensure product purity; In the synthesis process of chemical intermediates, solid residues in the reaction liquid are separated.
Pharmaceutical industry: In the clarification and filtration of traditional Chinese medicine extracts, remove the residue and colloidal impurities. In the production of Western medicine, the fermentation liquid is filtered to separate the bacteria and the medicinal liquid, ensuring the quality of the medicine.
Food industry: In the production of fruit juice and beverages, filter impurities such as fruit pulp and fibers to clarify the products; During the refining process of edible oil, phospholipids, solid impurities, etc. are removed.
Environmental protection industry: Used for industrial wastewater treatment, filtering suspended solids in wastewater and reducing turbidity of sewage; In the deep filtration stage of domestic sewage treatment, the quality of the effluent is improved.
Light textile and metallurgical industries: Filtration of textile printing and dyeing wastewater, recovery of dyes and reduction of pollutant emissions; In the metallurgical industry, the coolant and cleaning liquid after metal smelting are filtered and recycled to save resources.
